چکیده

Recently, multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) relay networks have been an active area of research, particularly with combining single transmit antenna selection (TAS) and receiver maximal ratio combining (MRC). Moreover, generalorder rectangular quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) has received much attention for its high spectral efficiency and flexible modulation scheme. However, the analytical performance of general-order rectangular QAM has not been found in the literature for MIMO relay with TAS/MRC in Nakagami-m fading channels in spite of its practical usefulness. In addition, the analytical performance of general-order rectangular QAM often comes with enormous computational complexity. Therefore, it is hardly possible to understand the analytical solution unless the symbol error probability (SEP) is plotted graphically. In this paper, we present the SEP of general-order rectangular QAM in a MIMO relay with TAS/MRC using the sampling property of the delta impulse function. The SEP of MIMO relay networks is shown in terms of diversity order and coding gain. The proposed sampling method can also significantly reduce the computational complexity of the SEP of general-order rectangular QAM.

Performance Evaluation of Two-Hop Wireless Link under Nakagami-m Fading

Now-a-days, intense research is going on two-hop wireless link under different fading conditions with its remedial measures. In this paper work, a two-hop link under three different conditions is considered: (i) MIMO on both hops, (ii) MISO in first hop and SIMO in second hop and finally (iii) SIMO in first hop and MISO in second hop. The three models used here give the flexibility of using STB...

Performance Analysis of TDMA Relay Protocols Over Nakagami- Fading

Several time-division multiple-access (TDMA) cooperative wireless relay protocols and their performances have recently been developed by Nabar, Bolcskei, and Kneubuhler. Their work, however, is limited to an upper bound-based performance analysis for Rayleigh fading. We thus provide an exact analysis of two of their protocols in single-relay and multiplerelay networks over independent identical...

Analysis of Amplify-and-Forward Cooperative Networks with Nakagami-m fading Channels for MRC Diversity Combining

In this paper we study the effect of diversity combining for Nakagami -m fading Channels in the amplify-and-forward cooperative networks. We derive the cumulative density function (CDF), probability density function (PDF) and moment generating function (MGF) for the multiple relay amplify –and-forward network with single half duplex channel maximal ratio combiner (MRC). In this network we invest...
